Extreme Grade

Hapco Extreme Grade Exhaust Silencers(EXT)

With a typical sound attenuation of 45 to 52 dBA this series was designed for Hospitals, Tug and Fishing vessels, and other applications where the surrounding noise level is low.

Super Critical Grade

Hapco Super Critical Grade Exhaust Silencers (VCS,SCSC)

Exhaust gases flow through the silencer in a vortex motion and noise reduction is accomplished by a combination of absorption & annulling of noise waves resulting in reduced silencer diameters. The typical attenuation of the VCS grade silencer is 18 to 32 dBA* Recommended application for the VCS grade silencer is Hospitals, Ships, Tugs, Fishing vessels, Waste Water Plants and Schools.

Critical Grade

Hapco Critical Grade Exhaust Silencers (VRS,CSCS)

Exhaust gases flow through the silencer in a vortex motion and noise reduction is accomplished by a combination of absorption & annulling of noise waves resulting in reduced silencer diameters.The typical attenuation of the VCS grade silencer is 18 to 32 dBA* Recommended application for the VCS grade silencer is Hospitals, Ships, Tugs, Fishing vessels, Waste Water Plants and Schools and High Technology Industries.

Low Profile

Hapco Low Profile Super Critical Grade Exhaust Silencer (SFH)

Fully insulated internal surfaces greatly reduce radiant heat and shell surface noise. The typical attenuation of the VCS grade silencer is 18 to 32 dBA*. This exhaust silencer is low in profile and back pressure, internally insulated on the top, sides and bottom. Otherwise known as the “hockey puck” style exhaust silencer of which Harco was the originator under U.S. Patent No. 5,670,757. Heavy duty all welded steel or optional Stainless Steel construction. Hanger brackets and condensation drain included and weld nut threaded flush mounted flanges for lower profile and greater strength and allows for the elimination of insulation wraps on the pipe stubs. Recommended applications Marine Engine Exhaust Systems, Engine Generator exhaust system for attenuated enclosures, ISO containers for Emergency Power, Military exhaust systems, Waste Water Plants, and Generator exhaust system in buildings with low overhead such as parking facilities. Optional Inlet/Outlet locations.

Residential Grade

Hapco Low Profile Residential Grade Exhaust Silencer (RFH) Bottom Inlet

Hapco Residential Grade Exhaust Silencer (RSL)

The typical attenuation for this style and grade silencer is 18 to 23 dBA. Available in both End In-End Out and Side In-End Out configurations. Recommended applications are Emergency Gen-Sets, Mobile equipment, Marine, Oil Field equipment, Logging and Construction equipment, Military equipment, Air Intake silencer for Diesel Engines.

Hapco Residential Grade Marine Exhaust Silencer (VMS) End In-End Out

Designed for the limited space constraints in a Marine application this exhaust silencer has a typical attenuation of 18 to 26 dBA. These exhaust silencer come with flanged connections and are all welded steel or optional Stainless Steel construction.

Hapco Semi-Residential Grade Exhaust Silencer (IRTS)

These exhaust silencer come with flanged connections and are all welded steel or optional Stainless Steel construction and have a typical attenuation of 22 to 27 dBA , designed for a low pressure drop application. Available in both End In-End Out and Side In-End Out configurations. Designed for high frequency noise commonly found in Gas Turbine, Vacuum Pump Discharge, Centrifugal Compressors, and Blower Discharge applications.

Industrial Grade

Hapco Industrial Grade Exhaust Silencer (M)

Typical attenuation for these exhaust silencers is 15 to 22 dBA. Applications for this style exhaust silencer is Construction, Logging, Oil Fields, Irrigation Pumps, Rock Crusher Facilities, Mining and other industrial applications where background noise is relatively high. Available in both End In-End Out and Side In-End Out configurations.

Spark Arresting

Hapco Spark Arresting Industrial Grade Exhaust Silencer (SAM)

United States Forest Service (U.S.F.S.) approved design for typical attenuation of 8 to 19 dBA. Optional side inlets or outlets, flanges or pipe threads. Can be mounted either vertical or horizontally.

Hapco Spark Arresting Residential Grade Exhaust Silencer (SASR)

United States Forest Service (U.S.F.S.) approved design(Under U.S.F.S. Standard 5100-1 and the Department of Defense MIL Spec A-27302A) for typical attenuation of 8 to 19 dBA. Optional side inlets or outlets, flanges or pipe threads. Can be mounted either vertical or horizontally.

Hapco Spark Arresting Super Critical Grade Exhaust Silencer (VCSA)

Designed for use with Diesel or Natural Gas Engine Power Systems with typical sound attenuation of 30 to 42 dBA with 95 to 99% efficiency. Internally insulated for low shell temperatures. Exhaust gases flow through the silencer in a vortex motion and noise reduction is accomplished by a combination of absorption & annulling of noise waves resulting in reduced silencer diameters.

The typical attenuation of the VCS grade silencer is 18 to 32 dBA*All attenuation estimates are based on Flow Velocity Not to Exceed 9000 FPM
